Volunteer Opportunities

The Karamu House Performing Arts Theatre seeking
ushers for all performances of Langston Hughes Black
Nativity.

Previews December 6th and 7th at 7:30 P.M.
Opens December 8th through December 30th 
Thursday through Saturday at 8:00 P.M.
Sunday at 3:00 P.M.

As an usher, you will assist patrons in locating their
seats, taking tickets, passing out playbills and
answering questions. The critical times are before the
performance begins until just after the intermission,
at which point, you will be able to enjoy the show.
Usher reports to the theater an hour prior to
curtains. ( For example 8:00 P.M. curtains, report
time is 7:00 P.M. sharp.)

Required attire is black and white, females: black
skirts and white blouses; men: black trouser, white
shirts and tie (must be dressed professionally) with
comfortable shoes.

On Saturday, December 2, the Karamu Volunteer
Organization will have a meeting in the Karamu
Library, 2355 East 89th Street from 10:30 a.m. to
12:00 noon.
