Opera Cleveland seeks a Production Stage Manager for the companies
inaugural 2007 season. The Production Stage Manager reports to Director
of Production. Responsibilities include scheduling and running all
rehearsals, supervising two assistant stage managers, working with
assistant directors, and calling the show from score. The qualified
individual will read music and manage all aspects of rehearsals and
rehearsal space, chorus, and supernumeraries. The PSM will produce daily
rehearsal schedules and reports, fitting schedules, as well as all of
the running paperwork for the production crew. The ideal candidate will
call all shows with an eye towards promptness, efficiency and safety, as
well as maintain all AGMA /AEA requirements for cast and chorus if
applicable. Qualifications are to have a good sense of humor, strong
organizational, leadership, and management skills, the ability to work
well with people, and to function calmly under pressure. Previous opera
stage management experience required. Opera Cleveland performs Spring,
