Cleveland’s Renowned Singing Angels Hold Open Auditions January 6, 2007

Cleveland, Ohio--- The Singing Angels, Cleveland’s world-renowned youth chorus, will hold open auditions on January 6, 2007 in the Masonic Auditorium, 3615 Euclid Avenue, fourth (4th) floor, from 10 AM to 3 PM. 

Auditions are open to girls, ages 8-14, and boys, ages 8-16. Those auditioning may sing any song of their choice without musical accompaniment. 

The Singing Angels, in its 43rd year, have performed in 30 countries, They have dazzled Presidents and Popes, and have appeared with such noted stars as Celine Dion, Bob Hope, Kenny Rogers, and Roberta Flack. Most recently, the Singing Angels were chosen as the singular youth chorus from the United States to perform at the National Tree Lighting ceremony in Washington D.C. with the U.S. Army Band, Eartha Kitt, Cathy Rigby, B.J. Thomas, John Conlee, and others.  This past summer they performed for Pope Benedict XVI from the front row of St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican. 

Reaching out to people everywhere they go, the Singing Angels have been ambassadors representing the best in Cleveland area musical youth. They hail from 10 Ohio counties surrounding Cleveland.
