The "Mama's Plan" film project continues to audition for various roles
that we need to fill.  Those interested may check out our web site at
www.mamasplan.com and log onto the book-form script.  We hope to begin
filming in the spring/summer of 2007, if everything goes as planned.  We
are searching for the following:

1.  A girl/young woman who is 17-18 yrs. old.  We prefer her to be a
blonde with a slim figure.  She needs to be able to also look and act
younger than her age.  She would have to be able to play a 15 yr. old, 13
yr. old, and even a mature 11 yr. old girl.  The reason we need a 17 or 18
yr. old girl is because she has to be mature, serious, and committed since
she would be the lead female role of the film.  Since she is the lead
role, she would have to be willing and able to memorize many, many lines
and have to meet with us in Akron very often to learn her part.  This is
our most urgent need at this time.

2.  A young man, age 20-21, who represents a Harvard Law student.  This
person would be handsome, clean-cut, have a preppy-like personality, and
charming.  He plays the lead role of Charlie Charleston, who is the
boyfriend of the "young girl" in our film.

3.  A middle-aged attractive nurse.  No particulars on what she should
look like.  We prefer a woman who is thin or average weight.  This will
entail approx. four (4) scenes.

4.  A woman in her late 20's, 30's, or 40's who would play the role of
nurse Jan Hiller.  We have no specifics on her appearance, or facial
features, or body type.  This nurse may only entail one (1) scene.

5.  A man who is in his late 40's or 50's.  This is the man who plays the
part of the abusive Uncle Harold.  He needs to be robust with a mean
disposition.  He would have to play in numerous scenes.

6.  A saleslady - any age group is OK, as long as she is over 21.  This
requires approx. two (2) scenes.

7.  Four (4) rugged looking females who would play the outraged inmates in
the prison.  These women can be in their late 30's, 40's, or even 50's. 
They need to look mean, rough, and angry.  Their body type, hair color,
eye color, etc. does not matter.  They would be acting in only one (1)
scene.

8.  A male EMT driver. No specfics on looks.  Could be in his 20's, 30's,
40's, or even 50's.
Any body type or facial features is OK.  This would be one (1) scene only.

9.  A waitress - no specific look in mind.  She can be 18 or older and of
any ethnic background.  This would entail several scenes.

Finally, we are in need of several other roles as well as MANY extras for
a variety of scenes.  These people can be in any age group and of any
ethnic background.

If an actor or actress takes on a role where they are doing one (1) scene,
they would need to meet with us in Akron once every 4-6 weeks after the
initial audition meeting (initial mtg. would be 1 to 1 and a half hrs.). 
We are very flexible, and can accomodate your schedule as needed.  We do
ask that you be dependable, and have reliable transportation, since we are
located in Akron.  SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!

If an actor or actress has a major role or a leading role, they would have
to meet with us every 2 weeks or more often in Akron after the initial
audition meeting.  We want to stress the point that participation in our
film is on a voluntary basis only.
