Needed: 6 Men and 3 Women
/actors auditioning will be asked to read from the script/
George Armstrong Custer: 	/36, red-blonde hair and haystack moustache. 
Simple, dynamic and charming/
Elizabeth Bacon Custer: 	/34. Prettiest girl in a small town, smartest 
girl in a small town, daughter of a small town judge/
Marcus A. Reno: 	/42. Looks older; always has. Square-faced and awkward. 
Nondescript hair parted in the middle and slicked down; a wisp of a 
moustache/
 

a chorus of 4 men and 2 women play all other roles: various men, women 
and children participating in the events surrounding the battle of the 
Little Big Horn, or "Custer's Last Stand"

/"In midafternoon of the 25th of June, 1876, five companies of the 7th 
regiment of United States Regular Calvary, some two hundred and twenty 
men, with Lieutenant and Brevet Major General George Armstrong Custer, 
found themselves quite suddenly surrounded by several thousand hostile 
Sioux and Cheyenne warriors among the low hills and gullies East of the 
Little Big Horn River, in Southeastern Montana. There were no survivors, 
and no one will ever know for sure how General Custer died or what the 
nature of his "Last Stand" was. He was, by reputation, the finest 
soldier on the Plains and his the finest regiment, by repute. And the 
mystery of his passing haunts us all."/
