The music of the medieval abbess Hildegard von Bingen provides the =
framework of this unique event by ANALOG arts ensemble.=20
 Ordo Superman borrows its title from Hildegard's legendary morality =
play Ordo Virtutum, a tale of a Soul=20
defended against the advances of Satan by a troop of Virtues including =
Innocence, Humility, Chastity and Contempt of the World. =20
The Superman part comes from performance artist Laurie Anderson's cult =
classic O Superman.
ANALOG trumpeter Joseph Drew (B-W grad) will perform contemporary solo =
works=20
interspersed between selections of Hildegard's timeless chants performed =
by ANALOG and Church of the Saviour singers.=20
Composers represented include Stockhausen, Pauline Oliveros, Laurie =
Anderson and Radiohead.
