Heights Youth Theatre is proud to announce the exciting Area Premiere=20
of Disney=E2=80=99s High School Musical directed and choreographed by=20
Pierre-Jacques Brault.

Audition Dates, Times, and Location:

Auditions are January 29th and 30th
at Wiley Middle School
2181 Miramar Boulevard
University Heights, OH 44118

Monday January 29: 4:00-8:00
Tuesday January 30: 4:00-8:00
(Auditioners will be seen in the order that they arrive)

Audition Preparation: Please prepare one short contemporary Pop or=20
Disney musical selection of your choice; bring sheet music in the=20
correct key; accompanist will be provided. You may sing from the show.=20
Dance audition will take place at the time of the audition. Please=20
dress accordingly to dance. Headshot/Picture and resume if available.

Rehearsal Information: 3 to 5 times a week (depending on your role)=20
starting February 1, 2007. Rehearsals will be from 5:00-9:00. Since the=20
rehearsal is less than 6 weeks, your rehearsal conflicts should be very=20
minimal or none at all. Entire cast will be expected to be there=20
throughout Tech week.

Roles Available: Ages 11-18 (must look like High School Students).  All=20
roles are open. HYT is committed to non-traditional casting. Actors=20
will be cast solely on the basis of talent, except in cases where age,=20
race or physical ability are essential to a role. Seeking a cast of the=20
top greater Cleveland 50-60 triple threat young, energetic teens to=20
play high school sophomores. Dance, gymnastic, sports, and instrumental=20
backgrounds are a plus, but not required.
