 press release

 "Anything Goes" Welcomes New Staff

Mighty Goliath Productions (MGP) welcomes new choreographers Margaret Holden & Jacqui Ladikos, as well as new pit director Jim Lucas. Although this is Margaret's and Jacqui's first endeavor with MGP, Jim Lucas has played trumpet in the pit for MGP for the last 7 years.

Margaret has an extensive background in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Gymnastics and Ballroom dancing. She has taught in New York, Tennessee and Ohio. She has served as Regional Director in Tennessee & Northeast Ohio as well as State Director for National Dance Week. Her dancers have performed with New York City Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Nashville Ballet & others. She teaches several dance classes at TrueNorth Cultural Arts Center in Avon Lake as well as the Beck Center in Lakewood.

Jacqui has worked in the field of Dance and Gymnastic instruction for over 20 years. She has been a private consultant and choreographer for many individuals and dance teams for national competitions. She has been rated as a United States Gymnastic Federation judge. She has a Princess Curriculum for young dancers (ages 3-7) at TrueNorth as well as acro/jazz and acro/hip hop classes which include gymnastics.

Jim Lucas has a degree in Music Education from BGSU as well as a Business Degree from LCC. He has played in the LCCC Civic Jazz Band, the Black Tie Big Band (now known as the Sing City Band) and the Patriots Community Band. By day, Jim works for Tri-Tech Medical where they manufacture medical gas pipeline equipment for hospitals, surgery centers and veterinarians in 20 countries.

MGP is greatly pleased with the talents these 3 new staff members bring to their group and hope they are able to be a part of MGP for many years in the future. The dancers began rehearsing at the very first rehearsal and the choreographers are often on their feet for 3 hours straight helping them get ready for the big show.

"Anything Goes" will run April 19, 20, 21, & 22. Due to cost saving measures, the production will be only one weekend. There will be a dinner theater night on Saturday the 21st, catered by Novotny catering. Tickets will be $13 general admission and $9 for students/seniors. There will be an Opening Night Special on Thursday, April 19, with all tickets $8. For more information, visit www.mightygoliath.com or www.myspace.com/mightygoliathproductions.
