Intro to Jitterbug!*(For the complete beginner)
8:15-9:15pm
Intro to FUN! This is a beginners Jitterbug & Lindy Hop class, and will use=
 increasingly dynamic moves to build frame and connection that will lead us=
 into a comfortable first Lindy experience.  Perfect for those with absolut=
ely NO previous dance experience.

A series of 5 week classes is $50 per person and $80 per couple.

You do NOT need a partner to take a Get Hep class or attend a Get Hep socia=

SAVOY STYLE LINDY HOP This is the grandfather of all swing dances. Originat=
ing in the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem, NY, this dance really swings, allowing=
 you to add your own personality to the dance.   Good examples of this danc=
e can be seen in the movies "Malcolm X" and "Swing Kids". =20

6 COUNT JITTERBUG This is the class to get you started. Basic footwork, hep=
 moves, and lead follow skills are taught. A six-count dance that evolved f=
rom the Lindy Hop into its own dance during the 40's. This is the style tha=
t is perhaps the most well known the world over.
