Garfield High School in Akron is mounting the play, Happily Ever, Once Upon.
I am looking for an individual or perhaps two people to help with the
building of the set and to put together the lights and sound for this
production.  The show opens April 20 and closes April 21.  This is what I
need:

   Set:    Someone who can supervise 10 - 15 high school students

           Must know how to put flats together

           Must know how to draw and paint -- flats, drop, & furniture

           Must know how to rig something to make glitter drop from an
           antiquated fly system

           Order and secure necessary supplies within budget

           Be available every  Friday from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM until tech week

           Be available 1st three days of tech week(see below)

           Having your own tools is a plus

Lights & Sound

           Must be able to supervise 5 - 6 high school students

           Inventory and order gels, bulbs, etc. to light show

           Have knowledge of the workings of a 1927 dimmer board

           Inspect equipment and authorize repairs

           Focus and light the stage (just want actors to be seen) very
little mood necessary here

           Put together all sound effects

           Put together pre-show, intermission, and show music

           Schedule will be put together as needed to get the job done --
Fridays are preferable

           Order sound equipment needs to mount production

           Be available tech week & help sound person during production

Tech week:  April 16 & 17:  3:30 - 8:30 PM  Food provided
                   April 18 & 19:  6:00 - 10:30 PM  Dress Rehearsals
                   April 20:           7:30 AM call
                                           6:00 PM call
                   April 21:           6:00 PM call through strike of sound
& lighting equipment

Advanced technical students at local universities encouraged to respond.
