According to the Plain Dealer's weekly Pop Ten list, the made-in-Cleveland
"The Horror Convention Massacre" screening this Saturday ranks ahead of a
lame remake ("The Hitcher"), a slasher sequel hit "Saw 3" DVD, a great doc.
on DVD and an Oprah special as things to see this week.

COOL CLEVELAND lists it as the HOT event this week. SCENE and FREE TIMES
wrote about it and the CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER's FRIDAY MAGAZINE did a full
page write up on it (page 16).

What's all the fuss about? The return to the glory years of drive-in movie
glory.

Old School Sinema presents a screening of "The Horror Convention Massacre,"
followed by live performances by 3 critically acclaimed area bands,
including headliners Uncle Scratch's Gospel Revival, Lords of the Highway
and Horror of 59 at the Beachland Tavern on Saturday, Jan. 27. The fun
starts at 9 p.m. sharp with the movie immediately followed by the band's
sets. Admission is just $7.

Be sure to arrive early (doors open at 8 p.m.) to get some drinks to play
"The Horror Convention Massacre Drinking Game" live, not to mention to get
some FREE popcorn. The Tavern has a 150-person limit, so be sure not to
arrive too late folks!

Uncle Scratch's Gospel Revival (USGR) members Brother Ed (former owner of
the great B-Ware Video of Lakewood) and Brother Ant co-star in Old School
Sinema's "The Horror Convention Massacre." Watch USGR meet a gruesome demise
as they are killed in an unlikely and hilarious fashion in the film. Lloyd
Kaufman, Syn Devil, Ari Lehman ("Friday the 13th") and Lew Temple ("The
Devil's Rejects") also appear in the film.

DVDs for "The Horror Convention Massacre" will be available at a special
one-time discounted rate (just $7!) . Old School Sinema will also be
recruiting new cast and crew members for its upcoming projects.

So come catch a cool filck and watch some of Cleveland's best bands. You
might just end up being in a horror movie!
