Auditions for OTHT's production of Larry Shue's comedy The Nerd will be =
held on Sunday, February 18 and Monday, February 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the =
Olde Towne Hall Theatre at 36119 Center Ridge Road in North Ridgeville =
(near the intersection of State Routes 113 & 83).

Performances will take place on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. from =
20 April 2007 through 05 May 2007, with one Thursday night performance =
on May 3.

Director Brad Sales is seeking to cast four (4) men, two (2) women and =
one (1) young boy in the following roles:

WILLUM CUBBERT (male, mid-30s)-- An aspiring young architect in Terre =
Haute, Indiana, and a Vietnam vet, Willum owes his life to a fellow vet =
he's never met (but that's about to change !); he has much in the way of =
career and romantic ambitions, but seems to lack the "gumption" to shift =
gears out of neutral.

TANSY MCGINNIS (female, mid 30s)-- Willum's bright, upbeat, would-be =
girlfriend, Tansy soon will be leaving Terre Haute- and Willum- to =
pursue a promising career in-- meteorology.

AXEL HAMMOND (male, mid-30s to early 40s)-- Pretentious, self-centered =
theater critic and friend to Willum, Axel is challenged to do someone =
else an anonymous favor.

RICK STEADMAN (male, mid-30s)--  The previously-unseen-by-Willum Vietnam =
vet who saved the latter's life, Rick is a "bumbling oaf with little =
intelligence and less tact."

"TICKY" WALDGRAVE (male, mid-40s to mid 50s)-- "Rags-to-riches" =
businessman, Ticky's last smile was merely a by-product of gas.

CLELIA WALDGRAVE (female, mid-30s to about 50)-- As Ticky's put-upon =
schoolteacher wife, Clelia breaks dishes to stay on an even keel.

THOR WALDGRAVE (male, must appear to be 8-10 years old)-- A spoiled and =
loud young terror, Thor quickly would usurp the action from the other =
characters if not banished to another room.
