FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - February 5, 2007
As spring approaches plans are well under way at Rabbit Run Theater in
anticipation of the 2007 summer season. A big part of those plans are
auditions. Numerous roles are available for young and old, male and female
alike. The productions for the summer and the roles available are as
follows:
Forever Plaid
Type of show: musical
Show dates: June 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16
Available roles: Yet to be determined
Auditions for Forever Plaid will be by private appointment only. Please
call for information.
Having Our Say - The Delany Sisters' First 100 years
Type of show: drama
Show dates: June 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30
Available roles: Two African American women ages 35 - 65, able to portray
an elderly woman.
Audition dates: Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25
SWING! (Young Adult Production)
Type of show: musical
Show dates: July 5, 6, 7
Numerous roles available for you ages 12 - 18
Audition dates: Saturday, March 10, and Sunday, March 11
Little Women - the Broadway Musical
Type of show: musical
Show dates: July 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29
Available roles: 7 female, ages 13 - 60; 4 male, ages 15 - 60
Audition dates: Saturday, March 17, and Sunday, March 18
Fallen Angels
Type of show: Comedy
Show dates: August 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26
Available roles: 3 female, ages 25 - 45; 3 male, ages 25 - 45
Audition dates: Saturday, March 24, and Sunday, March 25
All auditions are by appointment only and are at Rabbit Run Community Arts
Association fine arts building, 49 Park St., Madison. Actors auditioning
for a musical should prepare a short song (about 16 measures) to sing.
Please bring sheet music for the accompanist. Anyone auditioning for SWING
should wear comfortable clothing for movement. Actors auditioning for
Fallen Angels and Having Our Say will read from the script and do not need
to prepare a monologue.
Audition appointments may be scheduled beginning the week of February 12.
