Mosaics

Artist/Instructor:  Alexis Thynne

Date:  Tuesdays, February 27 - April 3 

Cost: $100, supplies included in the price of the class

$90 for Individual Level Members and Above

Participants will learn the basics of creating a mosaic.   You will be
introduced to direct and indirect methods and will have the option of
creating several smaller works of art or one larger piece.  The projects may
include, but are not limited to: mosaic trivets (hotplates for your kitchen)
using ceramic tiles, stained glass mosaics which are translucent and can be
hung in a window as sun catchers, mosaic stepping stones or animal
sculptures for the garden using a variety of tesserae (tiles.)  

By class end, winter will end and you will have beautiful mosaics for your
home and spring garden!
