WHAT:             OPEN AUDITIONS FOR THE CEMETERY CLUB

WHO:               All roles available!  Five women and one man will be cast

WHEN:             Monday, March 12 and Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 PM

WHERE:           Broadview Heights Cultural Arts Building - 9543 Broadview
Road (1/2 mile South of Route 82 --from the main entrance of Broadview
Center campus, follow the drive to the flagpole.  Turn right at the flagpole
and follow the signs past the Police Station to the Cultural Arts Building)

PREPARE:        A New York (Queens) accent is a plus, but not necessary.
Readings from the script will be provided.

The Broadview Heights Spotlights Community Theater will be holding open
auditions for its upcoming production, The Cemetery Club.  Director Matthew
Solarz is seeking adult performers for all roles.  Auditions will be held
Monday, March 12 and Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 PM.  Auditions will take
place at the Broadview Heights Cultural Arts Building, located on the
Broadview Center campus (9543 Broadview Road - 1/2 mi. South of Rt. 82).
Readings from the script will be provided.

The Cemetery Club is a comedy about three widows who are doing their best to
deal with life and romance after the death of their respective husbands.
When one friend begins anew with a budding romance, will the strength of the
trio's friendship be threatened?  All roles are available and include:
sweet-tempered Ida, feisty and fun Lucille, prim and proper Doris, handsome
beau Sam, and other small roles.  The show calls for five women and one man
to be cast. A New York (Queens) accent a plus, but not necessary.  

The Cemetery Club is written by Ivan Menchell.  Performance dates are
Fridays and Saturdays, May 4-19, with a matinee performance slated for
Sunday, May 20.
