  Great Lakes Theater Festival brings its Outreach Touring Production of Before the Storm to Clague Playhouse on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 7:00PM.
   
  What happened on Shakespeare's charmed island before Prospero summoned forth The Tempest?  In this imagined prequel to Shakespeare's masterpiece, we see if Princess Miranda and the sprightly Ariel can transform a monstrous Caliban from beastly creature into redeemed hero, with the aid of Shakespearean scenes magically springing to life from
  Prospero's enchanted book.  Does art truly hold the power to transform?  Before the Storm is designed for audiences of all background and ages.
   
  The five-actor touring ensemble features Cleveland actors Anne McEvoy, Faye Hargate, Geoff Knox, Laura Mielcarek and Michael Regnier.  Directed by Daniel Hahn
   
  This 60 minute event is free and open to the public and reservations are not required.  Refreshments will be served following the post-performance discussion.
