Matthew J Murphy has been back in Cleveland the past 3 years working 
with young music artists as well as teaching over 35 students a week 
guitar/piano. Matthew originally from Cleveland performed on Broadway 
in the show RENT for three years. Matthew left the show to pursue his 
passion for writing and developing young artists. Matthew just recently 
had one of songs placed on MTV'S Laguna Beach and has serious interest 
in his songs from various artists and record labels in Los Angeles. 
Matthew has been writing for/developing Jami Ross (Mentor) who is now 
living in LA with major representation.

Matthew is always looking for young talent that has a serious interest 
in performing in the music industry. Matthew is looking for both male 
and female artists to develop and write for to shop to major/major 
independent record labels.

Matthew is also looking for new guitar/piano students for the summer. 
Matthew teaches a non-classical style that focuses on teaching chords 
to singers as well as songwriting in various styles. Matthew will teach 
whatever the students wants to learn!
