Royalton Players presents Neil Simon's comedy Fools, opening tonight and
running for two weekends. Fools takes place in Kulyenchikov, a village cursed
with chronic stupidity. Out of desperation, the villagers hire Leon
Tolchinsky, an ecstatic schoolteacher, to break the curse. Fools spins a
traditional Russian folk tale about a village of idiots with Neil Simon's most
outrageous characters and distinctive brand of contemporary wit and hilarity.

Mark Bernahrdt stars as Leon that schoolteacher and Jill Janos as Sophia, his
pupil. Joe McIntyre portrays Zubritsky and Geraldine Drake is Lenya. Also in
the show, are Jennifer Bernhardt as Snetsky; Neil Donnelly as Count Gregor;
Kelley McIntyre as Yenchna; and J.D. Dier as Slovitch. Rounding out the cast
are Colleen Carrick, Bill Gajewski, and Annmarie Steffes.
