Spotlights Community Theater and director Matthew Solarz are seeking strong,
experienced, female actors (aged approximately 50+) to fill two exceptional
leading roles in the theater's upcoming production of THE CEMETERY CLUB.

WHAT:             OPEN AUDITIONS FOR THE CEMETERY CLUB

WHO:               SEEKING TWO WOMEN FOR LEADING ROLES - age 50-ish plus,
strong acting skills a must!

WHEN:             WEDNESDAY, MARCH 21 at 7:00 PM

WHERE:           Broadview Heights Cultural Arts Building - 9543 Broadview
Road (1/2 mile South of Route 82 --from the main entrance of Broadview
Center campus, follow the drive to the flagpole.  Turn right at the flagpole
and follow the signs past the Police Station to the Cultural Arts Building)

PREPARE:        A New York (Queens) accent is a plus, but not necessary.
Readings from the script will be provided.

The Cemetery Club is a comedy about three widows who are doing their best to
deal with life and romance after the deaths of their respective husbands.
When one friend begins anew with a budding romance, will the strength of the
trio's friendship be threatened?  All roles are available and include:
sweet-tempered Ida, fun and feisty Lucille, prim and proper Doris, handsome
beau Sam, and other small roles.  The show calls for five women and one man
to be cast.

The Cemetery Club is written by Ivan Menchell.  Performance dates are
Fridays and Saturdays, May 4-19, with a matinee performance slated for
Sunday, May 20.
