The Scriveners, in association with Cleveland Public Theater, will hold 
auditions for "Saturday Confessions/A Priest's Tale," on April 16th and 17th at 
7:00PM. The play is a series of short vignettes, some serious, some comic, some a 
mixture of both, that takes place on a Saturday afternoon as a harried priest 
with somewhere else to be tries to get rid of a string of unusual confessors. 
The play will be performed June 7,8,9,10,15,16 and 17 at CPT.

Needed are four men ages 30-50 (one priest, two confessors and a lawyer), 
three women age 25-35 (ability to speak in an eastern European dialect would be 
helpful for the woman in her middle 30's) and a young girl approximately 10 
years old. Come prepared to read from the script.

"Saturday Confessions/A Priest's Tale" will be produced by noted local 
scriptwriter and filmmaker William A. Alexander ('Shades," "Dead Silent"), directed 
by area playwright and performer Gary Webster, and written by the Scriveners.
