Ballet Theatre of Ohio announces auditions for its 2007-2008 season

Ballet Theatre of Ohio is a ballet based company which will perform two
full-length ballets per year.  There will also be at least 2 repertory
performances which will include neo-classical and contemporary ballets
choreographed by Artistic Director, Christine Meneer and other guest
choreographers.

Offering contracts to 4 females and 4 males for up to 30 wks starting at
$400. per wk.  Season begins mid-June.  Health care package is optional with
provisions for pointe shoes / technique shoes.

Performances include Nutcracker, Coppelia, at least one repertory season
plus many educational outreach and community events.   Dancers may be
invited to perform in Sleeping Beauty  May 5 & 6, 2007.  

Please call and reserve an audition time.  Arrive one hour prior to audition
time. Bring resume with references names,  headshot, performance video
preferred but not required.  Strong ballet technique required.  Partnering
skills required.  Bring pointe shoes - Repertory will be taught during the
audition.

Audition Fee: $10.00
