Auditions for Independent Film
MON., APRIL 9 in CLEVELAND HEIGHTS

Actors sought for an independent short film: working title “The
Incident.” A legendary fraternity party leads to tragic results. 

The film will shoot in Cleveland April 20-22. There is no pay, but
actors will receive a copy of the finished DVD. Speaking and extra roles
are available for many men and women between 18-25 years old, and 1 man
or woman between 40-60 years old.

Auditions for speaking roles will be held MONDAY, APRIL 9 at:
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS COMMUNITY CENTER
1 Monticello Boulevard (at Mayfield Road)
Activity Room #4 in the Child Care Suite

Actors will be seen between 7:15 PM and 9 PM. No monologue is required.
Actors will read from the script. We are striving for a racially diverse
cast. All are welcome to audition.

Extras should not attend these auditions. Instead, submit a recent photo

SPEAKING CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

Fraternity Members—All are 18-22 years old. Aside from the two
characters specified, these roles can be played by any ethnicity. In
fact, we are striving for a racially diverse cast. 

President – Joe Martinez (Hispanic, good looking, tries to be a good
leader and do the right thing)

Vice President – Kyle (Caucasian. Feels as though he was “passed over”
for the president’s post. Harbors some racially motivated animosity.)

Pledge Trainer - Collier
Treasurer - Drew
Recruitment Chair - Simon
Risk Manager - David
Social Chairman - Ted
New Recruit - Ryan Russell
Various members and pledges (extras with a few lines)

Alumnus – Marcus (24 years old. Had been a strong member of the
fraternity. After graduation, he gave up, started smoking pot, etc.)

Chapter Advisor (30 to 40 years old male)

Sorority Girl  – Ashley (Attends the party and gets very drunk, falls
and hurts herself)
Sorority Girl 2 – Ashley’s Friend
Various college women

Policeman  – Jeff (Late 20’s—early 30’s, strong)

Uninvited Guests – Two drunk, unruly college guys. One is ready to start
a fight.

Detective (50-60 years old. Typical, hard-pushing police detective. Has
a dislike for those who try to avoid responsibility.)
