Directed by nationally acclaimed director, Victoria Bussert, PASSION is
a complex love story that takes place in mid-19th century Italy.
Sondheim's distinctive musical style explores the passionate love affair
between a married woman and a soldier who, in turn, is loved obsessively
by an unattractive, sickly woman.  He is torn between his passion for
one woman and his compassion for the other.

Based on the Italian film, Passione D'Amore, PASSION is another
award-winning collaboration by the creative team of James Lapine and
Stephen Sondheim.  The Broadway production won the 1994 Tony Awards for
Best Musical, Best Original Score and Best Book; as well as the Drama
Desk Awards for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Music, Outstanding
Lyrics, and Outstanding Book for a Musical.=20

PASSION features Jared Leal* as the soldier, Giorgio; Jodi Dominick* as

PASSION opens in the Beck's Studio Theater on Friday, April 6 and runs
through May 6.  Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and
Sundays at 3:00 p.m.  There is no performance on Sunday, April 8.  There
will be a special late-night performance on Saturday, April 14 at 11:00
p.m. only (no show at 8:00 p.m.).
