FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ohio Youth Ballet presents silent auction, fashion show, ballet on May 6

The biggest fundraiser for the Ohio Youth Ballet is Sunday, May 6 and
includes a silent auction, fashion show, buffet lunch, magic show and, of
course, a ballet performance by members of the non-profit pre-professional
ballet company.

A "Beary Fine Afternoon," the OYB's second annual silent auction and fashion
show begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Prestwick Country Club, 2220 Raber Road,
Uniontown, Ohio.

Housed at The Turning Pointe School of Dance, 2387 Locust St. S., Canal
Fulton, the OYB is under the artistic direction of Inna Stabrova and Dmitry
Tuboltsev. The mission of the talented young members of the OYB is to bring
their love of the arts to the community through outreach programs.

Silent auction items include a week at an Ocean Front Vacation
House in South Nags Head. Other quality items have been donated by Keillor's
A Teddy Bear Shoppe, The Hall of Fame Fitness Center in Canton, Paul and
Carol David YMCA, Longaberger, Don Pablos, Chili's, Pampered Chef and
Tastefully Simple, and many others. Businesses and individuals may still
donate items to the silent auction.

Turning Pointe School of Dance students will present the fashion show
featuring Polka Tots and Urban Behavior. Entertainment includes a creative
interpretation of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" choreographed by OYB
members. Buffet lunch will be provided by Prestwick Country Club. Tickets
are $25 for adults; $20 for children 12 and younger; or $45 per couple.

"When people leave the event we hope they will take with them a
newfound understanding of who the Ohio Youth Ballet is and the level of
talent that we have in the company," said Diane Keller, chairperson of the
event.

To purchase tickets, donate silent auction items, or other
information, e-mail ohioyouthballet at turningpointeschoolofdance.net or call
the dance school at 330-854-1417.
