We are casting an audio dramatization of Sir Author
Conan Doyle’s novel “A Study in Scarlet.”

This is a dramatization of the first of the Sherlock
Holmes novels; produced in London in 1887.  Some of
the subject matter may be considered Politically
Incorrect by today’s standards.  Please read the
original work (available online) if you are concerned.

A British accent is not required.  If you can do a
British accent, great, if not, do the audition without
an accent.  Having no accent is better than having a
bad one.

This is a non-union, pay deferred production, no
guarantee of payment is to be inferred by statement or
contract.

In order to minimize studio time; if cast you will be
REQUIRED to attend rehearsals.

The actual recording is tentatively scheduled for July

There are 22 male characters, 6 Female characters,
various ages

Auditions are: Wednesday, April 18, 2007.  2pm-6:30pm 
 Main Lakewood Public Library, 15425 Detroit Ave. at
Arthur Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107

Saturday, April 21, 2007. 12n-5:30pm  Madison Branch,
Lakewood Public Library,13228 Madison Ave, Lakewood,
OH 44107

Callbacks will be Wednesday, April 25, 2007. 
2:30pm-6pm.   Selected actors will be informed of
location. Schedule accommodations may be possible for
selected actors.

Headshot/Resume would be helpful, but are not
required.

Reservations are suggested:  Those who reserve time
slots will be auditioned as close to the scheduled
time as possible, walk-ins will be taken on a first
come first served basis around the scheduled actors.
