Summer is almost here and Brecksville Center for the Arts is gearing up for one of its busiest seasons. New classes and workshops begin each week.
Young students can learn the basics of fashion design, make whimsical creations in clay, or join the Art in Cinema and Art in Literature series. BCA’s new Dance Department offerings include a two week Dance Camp, jazz, hip hop, Pilates and “Tiny Dancers” classes. Many of the drawing and painting classes are moving outdoors; at the Gazebo, under the Willows at BCA and on drawing excursions around town.
Teens and adults can choose from a wide array of classes in the fine arts and an ample selection of just-for-fun workshops. Where else can you learn Henna Body Art, try your hand at container gardening, create a digital scrapbook or paint a Pysanky egg in the summertime? Gather your friends for a Moms’ Night Out event, or join our Book, Guitar or Art Club.
Camp BCA is a fun-filled summer extravaganza of classes for children, beginning in June. Camp sessions are one week in length, and are offered every week until school begins in the fall.
In all Brecksville Center for the Arts will offer over 200 class sessions this summer.
Brecksville Center for the Arts is a 501C3 organization offering education in the fine, applied and performing arts. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:30 am – 4 pm. BCA is open to all Ohio residents. BCA is located at 8997 Highland Drive with some classes held at the Blossom Hill City Complex, 4450 Oakes Road.
