There's still time to audition for one of eight great roles in "Saturday
Confessions/A Priest's Tale," presented by the Scriveners in association with
Cleveland Public Theater. "Saturday Confessions/A Priest's Tale" takes you inside
St. Aloysious the Amicable Church on an anything but typical Saturday
afternoon as a beleaguered priest who desperately wants to be somewhere else has to
deal with the strangest group of confessors he's ever encountered in all his
years in the priesthood. "Saturday Confessions/A Priest's Tale" will be performed
late night at CPT June 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th. Auditions will be held at CPT
Tuesday, April 17th, from 7-9PM.

MEN'S ROLES (21-55)

The priest, who can't get away to attend his son's first birthday party
Donald, a lawyer who thinks the world revolves around him
Roger, a Protestant who wants to cover all of his bases because he
erroneously thinks he's dying
Archie, a salesman with an explosive secret (or so he claims)

WOMEN'S ROLES (21-55)

Larissa, an eastern European wife with a unique way of handling a
philandering husband
Maria, a sexpot who "gets around"
Maggie, the priest's wife

CHILD'S ROLE (10-12)

A young girl who is making her first confession but can't think of any sins
to confess to

"Saturday Confessions/A Priest's Tale" is a series of vignettes written by
the Scriveners. It is directed by playwright and performer Gary Webster,
assisted by noted independent filmmaker William A. Alexander ("Shades," "Dead
Silent.") We're still looking for a few good actors. If you'd like to be one of them,
contact the director at _web9597 at aol.com_ (mailto:web9597 at aol.com) .
