<DIV class=RTE>TrueNorth Cultural Arts and NE Ohio Committee for National Dance Week will be offering a full day of dance workshops, performances and socializing for the annual “Day of Dance” as part of a week of activities and events aimed at highlighting and celebrating the benefits and intrinsic value of dance.</DIV>
<DIV class=RTE>The “Day of Dance” will be held on Sunday, April 29th beginning at with workshops at 10:00am, performances at 3:00pm and a reception/dance with music by Mike Petrone and his band at 7:00pm. Visitors can join the celebration for any part of the day or spend the entire day participating and observing dance in a variety of styles and techniques.</DIV>
<DIV class=RTE>The cost of workshops is $10.00 each or 3 workshops for $25.00 if registered by April 20th. Workshops will be conducted in Swing, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Flamenco and Middle Eastern. Performance tickets are $5.00 for ages 3-17 or $8.00 for ages 18 and older. Over 20 performers are scheduled, representing over 13 styles of dance. Rounding out the “Day of Dance” will be Mike Petrone and his band providing the music for  the social/reception portion of the evening. Guests will have the opportunity to take a lesson in and then test their knowledge on the dance floor. Tickets are $25.00 per couple if purchased by April 20th or $15 per person thereafter.
