Directed by nationally acclaimed director, Victoria Bussert, Passion is
a complex love story that takes place in mid-19th century Italy.
Sondheim's distinctive musical style explores the passionate love affair
between a married woman and a soldier who, in turn, is loved obsessively
by an ugly, sickly woman.  He is torn between his passion for one woman
and his compassion for the other.
