Area musicians have the opportunity to appear in a SHOWCASE of ORIGINAL =
MUSIC (only, please), hosted by the Cleveland Chapter of Just Plain =
Folks (a free, on-line music community) on Thursday, May 17, at The =
Symposium (time TBA).  Participants don't currently have to be a member =
of JPF to take part in the showcase, although they will most likely =
benefit from JPF's free membership.  Just Plain Folks features a variety =
of resources for musicians and songwriters, including the largest annual =
awards contest, as well as helpful message boards staffed by a variety =
of amateur and professional songwriters, musicians, and music industry =
professionals. =20

There is NO FEE to participate in the showcase.  The showcase at The =
Symposium is just one of many similar events being held nationally as =
part of this year's JPF tour. Participants may sign up to appear in as =
many showcases in as many various cities as they would like.  (For =

Participating musicians are asked to arrive early to first do an hour's =
worth of networking with peer musicians just prior to the showcase, and =
to also commit to remaining for the entire showcase as a show of support =
for the other participants.

Due to the number of performers expected, each act will be limited to a =
maximum of two songs.  Those interested may sign up by completing and =
