<DIV align=left><STRONG>Cleveland (OH) - May 1, 2007  - Karamu House Young Adult Series: </STRONG><EM><STRONG>Beyond the Classroom</STRONG> </EM>examines the relationship between Malcolm X and his mentor Elijah Muhammad during Malcolm's last days with The Nation of Islam with <STRONG>When Chickens Came Home To Roost </STRONG>and explores sex trafficking in the United States with true survival accounts with <STRONG>Body & Sold</STRONG>.  Both productions, <STRONG>Ohio premieres</STRONG> runs <STRONG>May 12 - June 3</STRONG> on the same stage in the <STRONG>Arena Theater</STRONG>.</DIV>

Woody</STRONG>, takes a vivid look into the faltering relationship between <STRONG>Malcolm X</STRONG> and his mentor <STRONG>Elijah Muhammad</STRONG> as Malcolm prepares to leave the Nation of Islam amidst philosophical differences and Muhammad's infidelities.  The <STRONG>Obie</STRONG>-award winning play, written by <STRONG>Laurence Holder</STRONG>, helped launch the career of <STRONG>Denzel Washington </STRONG>(as Malcolm X). </DIV>
