Ohio Youth Ballet announces 2007-2008 Auditions

CANAL FULTON, Ohio -- Two audition dates have been scheduled for those
interested in becoming a company member of the pre-professional Ohio Youth
Ballet, housed at The Turning Pointe School of Dance.

            This is a wonderful opportunity to train under artistic
directors Inna Stabrova, graduate of the renowned Vaganova Academy and
former principal dancer with the Leningrad Ballet Theatre, and Dmitry
Tuboltsev, former principal dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet.

            Auditions for 2007/2008 will be Sunday, May 20 and June 10 at
the dance studio, 2387 Locust Street South, Canal Fulton, Ohio. Audition
time is 2 p.m. and dancers must arrive no earlier than 1 p.m. and no later
than 1:30 p.m. Detailed information plus registration forms are available at
the dance studio. Call 330-854-1417 or e-mail
ohioyouthballet at turningpointeschoolofdance.net.

            Auditions are open to girls and boys ages 9-19 (by Sept. 1,
2007) who currently study classical ballet and take at least two classes per
week.

            Because the audition can become crowded, dancers are recommended
to come dressed in proper attire with fee and registration form in hand. Fee
is $20 exact cash or check made payable to the OYB.
