2007 Summer Theatre Camp
This exciting performing arts day camp is designed for children and
teens who love to sing, act, and dance and provides a great opportunity
to develop skills and gain experience. Aspiring young performers will
rehearse for a musical production which will top off a terrific summer.
Camp is taught by professionals seen on stage and behind the scenes at
The Players Guild Theatre. It is a 5 week program where kids and teens
(6-18) with an interest in musical theatre can participate in a full
production while developing their skills as actors, dancers and singers.
Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9:00am-3:00pm. Campers must
bring their own sack lunch and beverage each day.
All experience levels are welcome. Auditions for lead and minor roles
will take place during the first week of camp. All students will have a
role. There are not just roles for little puppies, we need teenagers for
some of the older leads!

In addition to being a confidence builder, camp teaches the various
fundamentals of theatre in a community theatre environment. Learn about
costumes, scenery, stage makeup, voice, movement, acting, auditioning
and more. Have fun learning about theatre and making new friends!

Overall it promises to be a rewarding experience. Students will walk
away with new skills, improved techniques, a great sense of
accomplishment as well as friendships and memories they'll never forget.
