Dear Creative Friends:
=20
We all know the value of being able to stand up in front of a room of peopl=
e and communicate an idea. Whether its through our own poetry or music, or =
performing someone else's classic lines or riff, we also know the skills we=
get from being on stage help us in our day to day lives, 9 to 5 occupation=
, volunteer meetings and more.=20
=20
Alas, we also know that the stage is not for everyone and don't we all know=
a young person who would benefit from the skill set performers use - if on=
ly they were a performer? For that young person in your life, here's a pote=
ntial solution. I recently met the woman who gives these classes and was im=
pressed with her passion for teaching the classic Carnegie course to teens.=
(She teaches it regularly to adults throughout the year.)=20
=20
Yes, there's a fee (see the bottom portion of the e-mail) but if you're fam=
iliar with this kind of course, you'll agree this is a good price for the w=
eeks of information and interactivity - and also college credit.
=20
I offer this with no agenda, except that some teen may be helped along to a=
brighter future. If you're interested be sure not to respond to me, but to=
the email address at the bottom.=20
=20
Happy summer!
