The Youngstown Playhouse presents...

MY WAY

A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra

Audition Dates: Sunday, July 8th and Monday, July 9th at 6:30pm

Show Dates: September 14th thru September 30th. Main Stage

Directed by John=C2=A0Holt, with musical direction by Mike Moritz

Show Info: Classy 1940's style nightclub act. Rhythm section on stage
with performers. This is NOT a Sinatra imitation production.
Roles: 2 men and 2 women. Age Range - Early 20's and up.
All vocals are challenging to difficult

**Please have a 2-3 minute song prepared. You will be asked to
sing select numbers from the show as well.
Please arrive and be ready to start at exactly 6:30pm

ALL ROLES ARE OPEN

No pictures of Sinatra will decorate the lobby or the set. None of the perfo=
rmers are supposed to be Sinatra. It=E2=80=99s not the story of his life nor=
 are the performers trying to imitate Sinatra when they sing. After all, imi=
tating Sinatra =E2=80=93 who sometimes performed 100 songs a day, during 45=20=
performances a week and swam countless underwater laps to develop breath con=
trol =E2=80=93 is near impossible.

What you will hear is a whole lot of music irrevocably linked to Sinatra.

>From the opening =E2=80=9CStrangers in the Night=E2=80=9D to the reprise of=20=
=E2=80=9CNew York, New York,=E2=80=9D =E2=80=9CMy Way=E2=80=9D hits the high=
lights of Sinatra=E2=80=99s musical career. Lighthearted banter and Frank fa=
cts introduce each set, much as with any nightclub show.

=E2=80=9CMy Way=E2=80=9D showcases more than 55 (yes, you read that right) o=
f Ol=E2=80=99 Blue Eyes=E2=80=99 songs, sung mostly in their entirety, again=
st the backdrop of an elegant nightclub setting.
