You have the opportunity to be a part of the third and final run of one of
the most successful productions in Beck Center's history!

AUDITIONS for replacements are Monday and Tuesday, July 9 and 10,
2007.  Appointments are being accepted starting on June 11, 2007 by calling
216-521-2540. If you are unable to make those audition dates, please contact
me at FSternfeld at aol.com to set up a private appointment.

CASTING & OPEN ROLES:
Ages mid-teens - older adults; one young girl. Young actors in their
mid-teens need to be able to believably play at least 16-18 years of age to
be considered for roles in the adult ensemble. In addition to several
principal roles, there are around 5-6 female ensemble roles and 4-6 male
ensemble roles available. Most of the ensemble will double as townspeople,
enchanted dinnerware and/or wolves. There are featured characters with
lines, as well as singing solos and dance routines within the ensemble. The
cast will assist with set shifting.

*Babette* - French Feather Duster. featured supporting role. 20's - 30's.
*Wardrobe* (Madame de la Grande Bouche) - former opera star, now a chest of
drawers. featured supporting role. 30's - 60's.
*Monsieur D'Arque* - Proprieter of the "Maison de Lune," an insane asylum.
featured supporting role. 30's - 60's. doubles in ensemble.
*Silly Girls* (3) - Town girls in love with Gaston. featured supporting
roles. late teens - 20's. doubles as dinnerware.
*Enchantress / Old Woman* - Casts a spell on The Prince and turns him into
The Beast in the prologue; late teens - 40's. doubles in ensemble.
*Young Prince* - The Beast as a young man, appears in prologue; late teens -
20's. doubles in ensemble.

*Aristocratic Lady* - 30's - 60's.
*Sausage Curl Girl* - late teens - 30's.
*Hat Seller* - 20's - 60's.
*Young Girl* - (pre-adolescent) 7 - 12 years old.
*Other Townspeople* - any age.

*Napkins* (3-5) - Can-can dancers in 'Be Our Guest'; female; late teens -
30's.
*Spoon, Fork* - Soft shoe dancers in 'Be Our Guest'; male or female; any
age.
*Plate* (1) - Vegas Showgirl routine in 'Be Our Guest'; female; late teens -
30's.
*Other enchanted objects* - Dinner Bell, Corkscrew, Vase of Flowers,
Measuring Spoons, Wooden Spoon. any age.

*2 Wolves* - Attack Maurice in one scene and Belle and the Beast in another;
male; must move well; late teen and up
