Turning Pointe features nationally-known instructor this month

Canal Fulton, Ohio - An exciting dancer who has performed nationally and
internationally will be teaching musical theatre classes this month at The
Turning Pointe School of Dance, 2387 Locust St. S.

Originally from Rochester, NY, Kimberly Fitch was a featured dancer in Total
Britney Spears Live (Slave Tour-MTV), according to her bio. She danced in
the MTV Upfronts at Madison Square Garden alongside Kanye West and Red Hot
Chili Peppers. She has performed with several other pop artists, including
Chubby Checker, Lisa-Lisa, MC Hammer, and new artists Solara and Jen Nieves.
Fitch has worked with such legends as Gregory Hines, Julie Andrews, Ann
Reinking and Ben Vereen. She has been seen on the screen in "Law and Order"
and "The Today Show" and independent feature films "The Taking," "Saturday
Morning" and "Unreal."

Fitch will be teaching the musical theatre portion of the dance school's
Summer Workshop I. Summer 2007 Workshop I is three weeks June 11-30 for
children ages 8 and older. Students receive classes Monday through Friday in
ballet technique, character/ballroom, tap, lyrical or modern, jazz, musical
theatre, and pointe for advanced students. Four different levels are offered
based on age and experience.

Fitch will teach musical theatre on Fridays. If they would like, students
can sign up for only the musical theatre class for $20, or for only the
second or third week of the workshop.

"I will make sure to incorporate all aspects of musical theater:
acting, blocking, stage terminology and some singing so that they have a
true understanding of theater dance," says Fitch, who received her training
at The Boston Conservatory, as well as programs with Gus Giordano, Jose
Limon Company and Boston Ballet.

This year, Fitch's projects include performing in the 2007 International
Fashion Awards with British pop sensation Rouge (televised in 23 countries),
shooting music videos and commercials, guest hosting Cosmopolitan Magazine
Radio on Sirrius Satellite Radio and being a guest jazz teacher for The
Joffrey Ballet School.

The Turning Pointe also offers a four-week summer semester July 9-August 4
with classes for pre-school age to adults. Classes range from creative
movement for the youngest dancers to hip hop, line dance, ballroom, pilates
and break dance along with tap, jazz and ballet for older children, teens
and adults.
