The critics are raving about Two-Headed at CPT!=20

"Holly Holsinger and Chris Seibert burn down the house in Julie Jensen's
feminist character study... The wild-eyed Holsinger is flint to
Seibert's quiet steel; they set off sparks as the story careens through
the decades." -- Linda Eisenstein, Cool Cleveland

"A deeply interior work, beautifully performed.... Seibert is in total
command of her somewhat dim but always intriguing character. Holsinger
emits the rage that drives the production...she provides the fuel that
ignites the passion. This 90-minute play almost requires two viewings to
fully appreciate. But you should be amply fascinated by just one." --
Christine Howey, Cleveland Scene=20

"Hot! Holsinger and Seibert smolder intensely.... Jensen says that
growing old as a woman is like the Mormon migration West. You start out
in the lush green of the East in youth -- with the flat Midwest being
the early child-bearing and -rearing years and surmounting the Rockies
coping with teens -- and you wind up in the desert. Which, with these
two for guides, would not be a bad fate." -- Tony Brown, Cleveland Plain
Dealer

Two-Headed by Julie Jensen at CPT!
A co-production with TITLEWave Theatre

Onstage now through Saturday, June 16th!=20

TITLEWave Artistic Director Greg Vovos takes on this incredible work by
Julie Jensen, writer of the critically-acclaimed Wait!, presented at CPT
in 2003.=20

Set against the backdrop of the rugged and wondrous terrain of Southern
Utah in the second half of the 19th century, Two-Headed takes an
intimate and haunting look at the friendship of two Mormon women as they
struggle to survive in the patriarchal Mormon society. On the heels of
the Mountain Meadows Massacre, in which over 120 Arkansas and Missouri
emigrants were brutally murdered by Mormon zealots, these women attempt
to make sense of their lives, their religion and their friendship. Watch
an amazing 40-year journey in 90 minutes.=20
