Internship Program
The Cleveland Play House offers exciting internship opportunities for =
recent
college graduates. We are looking for bright, creative, reliable, and
self-motivated individuals with basic training and experience in =
theatre.
These Internships can help bridge the gap between academia and the world =
of
professional theatre by offering hands-on training and practical =
experience
in all areas of technical theatre. Applications are now being accepted =
for
the 2007-2008 season.
Interns receive the opportunity to develop their skills as well as
establish new ones through the day to day tasks assigned to them while
working in a professional shop. The Play House employ=92s highly =
skilled and
talented artists who serve as Mentors and who provide a working =
environment
that promotes professional growth.=20
The Interns become an integral working part of the Company and are =
required
to work the regular staff hours of the department in which they are =
placed.
The hours vary depending on the department, but expect to work at least =
40
hours. The theatre provides a weekly stipend and housing is available =
for
interns who are from out of town. Internships last approximately 14-18
weeks and are available from August through May.=20
