Performance of Big River to follow at 7:30pm

Joanna May Hunkins has performed throughout the Cleveland area for the past 
twenty years. Recent roles include Cochina in Ferdinand The Bull (The Cleveland 
Playhouse), Kathy in The Last Five Years, Pattie in Smokey Joe's Cafe 
(Weathervane Playhouse), Soupy Sue in Urinetown, Susan in The Full Monty (Beck Center 
for the Arts), Woman 1 in ...World Goes 'Round (Solon), and Eve/Mama in 
Children Of Eden (The Players Guild). Former Mercury credits include roles in Just 
So, Footloose, Fame, Blood Brothers, A Class Act, Into The Woods and the Ohio 
Premiere of I Sing! In addition to her acting credits, Ms. Hunkins is a stage 
manager, director, and educator who has worked at Great Lakes Theatre 
Festival, Virginia Musical Theatre, Cain Park, Dobama Theatre, and many others. She is 
a graduate of Baldwin Wallace College.
