Hudson Players Offer School House Rock Live!

One weekend only special event has fun for all

Hudson, Ohio  -  June 19, 2007

The Hudson Players will perform the pop cultural musical journey School =
House Rock Live! July 6, 7 & 8, for one weekend only as a special summer =
event presentation. Each performance offers a great show and unique good =
time. Friday, July 6th will be 70's night (the television snip-its =
reached the height of its popularity then) with audience members =
encouraged to come dressed in 70's attire. 'School lunches' will be =
served before hand so the audience is encouraged to arrive at 7 p.m. and =
join in the fun. On Saturday, school lunches will again be provided =
before the show and the audience is encouraged to stay in Hudson =
afterwards for the city's annual fireworks. The one act show will =
conclude in time for audience members and cast alike to head to their =
favorite viewing spot for the event. It's a great way to celebrate the =
holiday. Finally, the Sunday matinee being offered at 2 p.m. Sunday July =
8th will be followed by complimentary box lunches for those who wish to =
picnic with the cast on the inviting grounds of the Barlow Community =
Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by advance reservations =
by calling 330-655-8522.

Schoolhouse Rock Live! draws its inspiration from the Emmy Award-winning =
Saturday morning cartoon series, popular in the 1970s, that taught =
through clever, tuneful songs. It features a fun, upbeat, not-to-be =
missed walk down memory lane with such beloved School House Rock songs =
as Just a Bill, Lolly, Lolly, Lolly and Conjunction Junction.

Performance dates are Friday and Saturday evenings, July 6 & 7, at 8 =
p.m. and Sunday afternoon, July 8, at 2 p.m. All performances will be at =
the Barlow Community Center=20

The Hudson Players are located right in the heart of Hudson, Ohio in the =
Barlow Community Center. From the North, simply exit 480 at Rt. 91 in =
Twinsburg and head south. Take a left on Rt. 303 (just past the =
clocktower) and a right on Oviatt St. The Barlow Community Center will =
be on the left hand side just a block down the road.  From the South, =
exit Rt. 8 at the 303 exit and head east (right). After you head through =
the center of town, make a right onto Oviatt St. The Barlow Community =
Center will be on the left hand side just a block down the road.

Individual show tickets can be reserved by calling 330-655-8522, or by =
purchasing them at the door on performance evenings.  Tickets for this =
one weekend only special event are:  $20.00 Regular Admission, $15.00 =
For Students, Groups & Senior Citizens and $10.00 for children under 12 =
(limit two per adult). Reservations are recommended as tickets are =
