Presented in partnership with the second largest performing arts center in =
the United States, Cleveland=92s Playhouse Square, CAMEO invites youth to j=
oin professional artists as they bring their talent and experience in Music=
al Theatre to the Medina Performing Arts Center, a beautiful, state of the =
art venue that has been acclaimed as one of the finest facilities in the st=
ate of Ohio.=20
CAME-OK! is a five day, grade appropriate, workshop that concentrates on th=
e essential acting, singing and dancing skills needed for the theatre.=20
Workshop A - Youth Ages 6-13 - July 9-13, 2007 - 9a-1pm - offers participan=
ts classes on character building, introduction to specific dance steps, the=
 strengthening and discovery of voice, and the freedom of imagination throu=
gh improvisation.  The week will conclude with the participants performing =
a one hour show featuring the highlights in dance, song, puppetry and monol=
ogues taught that week.
Workshop B - Youth Ages 14-19 - July 9-13, 2007 - 1-5pm - will focus on all=
 aspects of preparing for an audition.  Classes will spotlight the interpre=
tation of monologues, improvised movement to music and quick learning dance=
 techniques, projection and acting of a song, and the application of stage =
makeup. All participants will receive a professional portfolio head shot, l=
earn the correct way to write a resume for the stage, will discuss how to l=
ocate the correct agent, unions, and how to find auditions.  The week will =
end with all participants participating in a =93mock=94 audition
To preserve the intensity of the workshop experience, class sizes will be l=
imited to 20 participants.=20
