The Bang and the Clatter Theatre Company in Akron is holding auditions for Some Girls, by Neil Labute and Bug, by Tracy Letts. 

Looking for one woman age 23-26 for Some Girls 
Looking for two women ages 23-40 for Bug 
Looking for three men ages 25-45 for Bug 

Some Girls 
Your career as a writer is blossoming, your beautiful, young fiancée is waiting to get married – so what is your natural reaction? Well, if you’re a man, it’s probably to get nervous and start calling up old girlfriends. And so begins a single man’s odyssey through four hotel rooms as he flies across the country in search of the perfect woman (whom he’s already broken up with). 

Bug 
Things are going well for a waitress with a fondness for cocaine and a soft-spoken Gulf War drifter, until her abusive ex-husband is released from prison. All the while, there’s a hidden bug infestation that has the lovers dealing with scathing welts, driving them to paranoid conspiracy theories and strange psychological motives. 

Auditions will be held at the Bang and the Clatter Theatre Company on Tuesday, July 3rd, from 7-10 p.m. Please arrive at 7pm prepared with a contemporary monologue and ready to read from the script.
