CPT is holding auditions for

Osama the Hero by Dennis Kelly

directed by Raymond Bobgan.  

Summary: In the classroom, teenage Gary inflames his high school with an
unorthodox response to a homework assignment. Garages are blowing up all
over the neighborhood. Vigilantes must find someone to shoulder the blame. A
rollercoaster of a play by an important emerging playwright, Osama the Hero
is a raw, angry and provocative new work.  This is an Ohio and regional
premiere. 

We are currently looking to cast the following roles:

Gary (M, 17)

Francis (M, late twenties)

Mark (M, 50)

Mandy (F, 15-16)

There will be a few rehearsals in August and September. 

Main rehearsals begin 9/17 with performances running 10/18-11/4.

Please note that this play uses R rated language and addresses issues of
sexuality and violence. Under age youth will need parental approval to
audition.

Auditions are by reservation only: 

Saturday 7/7 at 10am, 12 noon 

Monday 7/9 at 7pm, 8:30pm

Saturday 7/14 at 10am, 12 noon

Auditioners must present a contemporary monologue, 1-2 minutes in length. 

There will also be cold readings from the script and we may do some
improvisations.
