The Cleveland Play House will hold auditions for the first Children's Series
production of the 2007-08 season, Bunnicula, to be directed by Scott Miller.
The production is scheduled to go into rehearsal September 4 and perform
October 2-28, with a possible extension. Rehearsals are flexible but all
performances take place during the day, six days a week. The production is
non-AEA and involves a salary.

Auditions will take place Monday, July 9 from 5PM until 9PM at the Cleveland
Play House rehearsal rooms, by appointment only. To schedule an appointment,
please respond to this email. For the audition, you will be given three
minutes to prepare whatever you wish. If you wish to sing, there will be a
pianist; there is some music in the production.

A script is available at the front desk of the Cleveland Play House, which
you may stop by and read in our lobby whenever you wish (we are closed July
4), though you may not take it with you. There are no sides to prepare,
though you may be asked to stay and read from sides.

The characters are-

Harold, a male dog. Not the brightest bulb on the tree, kind hearted,
sensitive, loyal, affable. Prefer actor who sings.

Chester- a female cat. Ironic, wry, emotional, sly. Prefer actress who
sings.

Robert Monroe- father. Nice guy, warm, sensible. Think Ozzie from Ozzie and
Harriet.

Ann Monroe- Kind, caring. Think Harriet only a bit loopy.

Pete Monroe- 10 year old boy played by adult.

Toby Monroe- 8 year old boy played by adult. They are competitive, good
hearted, energetic, bright.

Again, to make an appointment please respond to this email with a requested
time between 5PM and 9PM on July 9; we will do the best we can to
accommodate you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via email as
well.

Thank you,
