HEIGHTS YOUTH THEATRE'S NEW SEASON!

Cleveland Heights, OH - Heights Youth Theatre wants everyone =
to "follow the yellow brick road" to its 2007-2008 season. Why? =
".because, because, because, because, because! Because of the wonderful =
things it does!"

Heights Youth Theatre is proud to announce its 2007-2008 =
season, featuring three shows, including The Wizard of Oz. Heights =
Youth Theatre is made up of children, ages 6 - 18, from all over =
Cleveland's East Side. The theatre produces three full length musicals =
each year, servicing over 200 children and entertaining thousands. =20

Heights Youth Theatre has been in existence for almost 55 =
years, initially being housed at Cain Park, and then relocating to Wiley =
Middle School, to a theatre built to equity specifications for Heights =
Youth Theatre. Many believe it to be the oldest children's theatre =
company in the country.

The 2007-2008 Heights Youth Theatre season will kick-off =
with "Children of Eden" (Oct./Nov., 2007), directed by Sean Szaller, a =
veteran of Northeast Ohio theatre, including the Great Lakes Theatre, =
Cain Park, and Beck Center. Szaller has also served as a faculty member =
for the Fairmount Performing Arts Camp. "The Wizard of Oz" will run in =
January, 2008, and will be directed by Eastman School of Music graduate =
and Upper Laurel School Musical Director, Nathaniel Motta. Motta is =
also an established director, choreographer, teacher and conductor, who =
serves as Assistant Conductor/Chorus Master for Mercury Opera Rochester =
and the Ohio Light Opera Company. The season will culminate with =
Footloose (March, 2008), directed by Kris Comer, a performer with =
Kalliope Stage, the Cleveland Playhouse and the Halle Theatre. Comer =
also teaches a "Triple Threat Kids" class at Kalliope Stage. Comer most =
recently directed "Annie", which played to record audiences.
