Hudson Players Offer School House Rock Live!
Saturday Night’s Show To Be Followed by Hudson’s Annual Fireworks Display!

You heard right! The Hudson Players are performing the great, fun, pop
cultural musical journey School House Rock Live! this weekend, July 6, 7 &
8, for one weekend only as a special summer fundraising event presentation.
NEOhiopal members get $5 off the adult ticket price when they bring this
email. Each performance offers a great show and unique good time. This
Friday, July 6th will be 70’s night (the television snip-its reached the
height of its popularity then) with audience members encouraged to come
dressed in 70’s attire. ‘School lunches’ will be served before hand so the
audience is encouraged to arrive at 7 p.m. and join in the fun. On Saturday,
school lunches will again be provided before the show and the audience is
encouraged to stay in Hudson afterwards for the city’s annual fireworks
display. This is one of the best in the area so it’s not to be missed. The
show ends at approximately 9:20 with the display scheduled to go off between
9:50 and 10:00 p.m. which is plenty of time for audience members and cast
alike to head to their favorite viewing spot for the event. Finally, the
Sunday matinee being offered at 2 p.m. Sunday July 8th will be followed by
complimentary box lunches for those who wish to picnic with the cast on the
inviting grounds of the Barlow Community Center. Tickets can be purchased at
the door or by advance reservations by calling 330-655-8522.
Schoolhouse Rock Live! draws its inspiration from the Emmy Award-winning
Saturday morning cartoon series, popular in the 1970s, that taught through
clever, tuneful songs. It features a fun, upbeat, not-to-be missed walk down
memory lane with such beloved School House Rock songs as Just a Bill, Lolly,
Lolly, Lolly and Conjunction Junction.
The Hudson Players are located right in the heart of Hudson, Ohio in the
Barlow Community Center. From the North, simply exit 480 at Rt. 91 in
Twinsburg and head south. Take a left on Rt. 303 (just past the clocktower)
and a right on Oviatt St. The Barlow Community Center will be on the left
hand side just a block down the road.  From the South, exit Rt. 8 at the 303
exit and head east (right). After you head through the center of town, make
a right onto Oviatt St. The Barlow Community Center will be on the left hand
side just a block down the road.
Individual show tickets can be reserved by calling 330-655-8522, or by
purchasing them at the door on performance evenings.  Tickets for this one
weekend only special event are:  $20.00 Regular Admission, $15.00 For
Students, Groups & Senior Citizens and $10.00 for children under 12 (limit
two per adult).

Performance dates are Friday and Saturday evenings, July 6 & 7, at 8 p.m.
and Sunday afternoon, July 8, at 2 p.m. All performances will be at the
Barlow Community Center

The Hudson Players are one of the area’s longest running community theaters.
