AUDITIONS - BY APPOINTMENT for

I DO! I DO!

(Akron, Ohio, June 22, 2007, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...) Weathervane =
Playhouse will hold AUDITIONS BY APPOINTMENT for I DO! I DO! the musical =
by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt. Auditions will be held at Weathervane =
Playhouse, 1301 Weathervane Lane (in the Valley off Merriman Road) on =
Sunday, July 15, between 4 - 9 p.m. and Monday, July 16 between 7 - 10 =
p.m.  (Production dates: September 5 - 23, 2007)

Auditioners are asked to prepare 1 short, dramatic and sentimental =
monologue AND 2 short musical theatre songs - 1 comic, 1 serious (may be =
from the show). Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist =
will be provided.

Needed:

1 Women - mid 30s to late 40s

1 Man -- mid 30s to late 40s

Director for the production is Jacqi Loewy, who returns to Weathervane =
having directed our recent production of The Full Monty in addition to =
many other productions here. Originally from New York, she has Broadway =
acting and choreography credits to her name. Locally, she has directed =
at The Cleveland Play House, Cleveland Public Theatre, Lyric Opera =
Cleveland and Playhouse Square. She is the Artistic Director of =
Charenton Theater Company and on the theatre faculty at Lake Erie =
College. A proud member of AEA, she holds a graduate degree in directing =
and a BFA in musical theatre.

Musical Director is Jordan Cooper, who returns having been musical =
director for our production of The Last Five Years. He has also been =
musical director for Dynamics Theater, Firestone High School and =
Assistant Musical Director at Ashland University.
