CPT is holding additional auditions for Osama the Hero by Dennis Kelly,
Directed by Raymond Bobgan. =20

We are currently looking to cast three male roles:

Gary (aged 17) is a social outcast with an alcoholic mother and
unorthodox viewpoints on society.

Francis (late 20s) is a working class guy, obsessed with enacting
justice on his own. He is aggressive but also has a very kind and humane
side.

Mark (50) is upper-middle class. He enjoys life in a sort of
self-centered, epicurean way. He is also having a rather strange affair
with a 15 year old girl.

Auditions are by appointment only. Appointments will be scheduled in 15
minute increments on the following dates and times:

Summary:=20

A teenager inflames his high school with an unorthodox response to a
homework assignment. Garages are blowing up all over the neighborhood.
Vigilantes must find someone to shoulder the blame. A rollercoaster of a
play by an important emerging playwright, Osama the Hero is a raw, angry
and provocative new work.  This is an Ohio and regional premiere.=20

Main rehearsals begin 9/17 with performances running 10/18-11/4.

There will be a few rehearsals in August and September.=20

Auditioners must present a contemporary monologue, 1-2 minutes in
length.=20

There will also be cold readings from the script. Equity roles may be
offered for this show. All roles are paid positions.

Auditions will take place at Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit
