  Carnation City Players announces auditions for The Curious Savage by John Patrick directed by Joan M. Conlon. Auditions will be held on Monday, August 6 at 7:00 with possible callbacks later that week. Auditioners will be asked to read from the script which is available at Rodman Public Library's reference desk for perusal. Cast needed: 5 men and 6 women. Various adult ages are required. This classic comedy tells the story of Mrs. Savage, a millionaire, who wants to spend her money wisely, but her grown step-children have her committed to a sanatorium to prevent this. In the sanatorium, she meets various hilarious social misfits that need just the help that Mrs. Savage's money can provide. Her new friends help her conspire against her step-children in some high comedy antics. The play runs September 28-29, October 5-7. Any questions, please call the theatre at 330-821-8712.
